In July 16 i was able to head out to Nairobi, Kenya. I was following the work of the Northern Ireland based charity, Jengana. Fransuer, one of the founders of the charity grew up in the slums of Nairobi. His desire is to help as many kids leave the slums and move on to better things through education. The charity also provides a home for abandoned babies. They look after them until they are homed with people who can take care of them. They have recently purchased land just a little outside Nairobi where they intend to build a bigger home for the children. This is just part 1 of 5 galleries of photos taken across the week i spent there last year.
